Passing the Pipe

Getting the news that George Heron passed away four days before I was to show him the painting was a sad day for me. Later during our print show at the Seneca Iroquois National Museum, I was more than happy to see his family who had come to see the painting. Some tears were shed, but all and all, I think they saw it as a tribute to George’s life. What more could an artist ask for?
