The Autry National Center's annual Masters of the American West Fine Art Exibition and Sale (2008)netted over $4.7 Million. Major collectors from accross the United States and abroad were in attendance. Event hightlights included, "The Masters of the American West Purchase Award presented to Robert Griffing," for "Council at Slippery Rock Creek". The painting was also purchased by the Autry's Museum of the American West and will be added to the museum's collection. To mark the event we have done a very limited edition of this wonderful image.
